WHIRLING MIND

Yes, many times it's been told-
Every dark cloud has a silver lining
Giving man hope to the point of dreams,
Fantasies that can't be bought nor sold
Only locked away securely in his heart,
Gently resting in his soul,
Dwelling comfortably
And too deep to be stolen,
nor bought

Yes, many times it's been told-
Silver lining lite the way for the darkest day ever known -
It can't be given away... Traded nor Bartered.
Indeed not a poem, nor an Ode,
Old wives tale fantasy or lies,
Only my truth as now you know -
So my darkest nor yours
When we die,
It's the day after the cloud that silver lined
