I was born with a spoon

Silver or gold

I wasn't sure

But strive so hard- everyday

Even the grind so difficult to attain

But this is me

No one to lean on but myself

The more I ran- the more I was lost

And yet, this is me

That was the only way I knew how to make it

That was the only way I knew how to write a story for myself

The more I run, the more I strived

That was the solution to the answer I was told

But success could be so funny

The more I think it is at my grasp- the farther it was

The more I tried to pursue- the farther it ran

The more I tried to look it faraway- the closer it seems

But this is me

What else could I do?

Just run, strive, and grind

My daily routine seems like nothing anymore

But still I'm standing

So this is me

I embarked on several missions just to make it

And I started several things

Just to see a glimpse of it

And yet nothing ever works

But still,

This is me

I was told never to back out of things

That was what successful people had in common

But ye, I kept backing out

Because thought I was wrong

And every time, I was always proving wrong

But still,

This is me

An endless life story with just a start

With no idea to where the tree might fall
